Legacy Aquatics is a family-owned aquatic management company founded by Lauren and Brett Waterworth, built on decades of hands-on experience, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to safety, people, and service.

Lauren Waterworth brings over 25 years of experience in the aquatic industry, spanning coaching, pool operations, and organizational leadership. She holds a B.S. in Organizational Psychology and a Master’s degree in Sport Leadership and is SHRM-SCP certified (Society for Human Resource Management – Senior Certified Professional), a nationally recognized credential reflecting advanced expertise in people management, organizational compliance, workforce planning, and employee engagement. In addition to leading Legacy Aquatics, Lauren serves as the Head Coach of NOVA South Swimming.

Lauren’s background in human resources and organizational development allows Legacy Aquatics to operate with the structure, accountability, and professionalism of a much larger organization. From staff onboarding, training, and performance management to compliance, documentation, and communication, her expertise ensures that teams are supported, standards are clear, and operations run smoothly. This people-first foundation translates directly into reliable service and a stress-free experience for our clients.

Brett Waterworth anchors Legacy Aquatics with deep operational and safety expertise. A Richmond City firefighter, Certified Pool Operator (CPO), and EMT-Medic, Brett provides hands-on leadership in facility readiness, equipment oversight, and emergency response planning. His experience ensures pools are not only well maintained, but prepared for real-world situations with calm, decisive leadership.

Together, Lauren and Brett lead Legacy Aquatics with a shared commitment to safety, transparency, and professionalism. We pride ourselves on being more than a pool service provider.
